Quick / Speed Kill (The Two Thrones Walkthrough/FAQ)
Similar to the God Of War game, when prompted the Prince can initiate an attack from behind or above for a sort of stealth kill. In most cases, the Prince can use the environment and sneak around an enemy to get the drop on them. (I will go more in-depth on this feature in the walkthrough).
When the screen starts to shimmer in cat-vision style, press the TRIANGLE Button to start the kill sequence (the enemy MUST be unaware of your presence or the attack is canceled). During the attack, the screen will turn gray for a split second and the dagger the Prince is holding will shimmer. Press the SQUARE Button each time you see the dagger shimmer to complete the kill sequence.
Some Quick kills have multiple dagger attacks (especially on bigger enemies or multiple ones), so be on your guard when initiating the attack or you will get thrown off. Quick kills can be initiated from top ledges, chains, and wall gaps and are better than melee combat in all ways.
Dark Prince Note
The Dark Prince uses Speed Kills. Unlike the Prince, there is no shimmer on the screen to wait for to kill the enemy.Initiate the kill sequence and when the Dark Prince grabs hold of the enemy, bash the Triangle Button repeatedly to strangle them. Simple!

you need to wait for the dagger to simmer thn only attack.if tried be4 or after the shimmer ur enemy wud thro u

Awesome! I was stuck for a while, I tried button mashing, but it kept cancelling. Didn’t ever say to press square each shimmer

How I have to use environment mode to kill the boss… ??? let me know I am not getting it? I have this game on my desktop so dont have Triangle and square button.. on keyboard which button will take me to a level where I kick his —. hope you all understood…

speed kill means triangle button + square button !
4 those who still find difficult to kill the 1st boss at areana :
1st throw ur 2nd weapon because sometime the screen may not glow ue to this.
2nd goto any ledge at the giant level which is on either side.
3rd when the screen glows then press triangle once.
it enables to jump on the giant.
then press button square only if the screen becomes grey or blue (i.e. it indicates that ur jumping time was correct and now u r ready 4 speed kill )
suppose that the giant throws u away. use sand here to go back just to jumping pose. u ‘ll see that ur jumping time now becomes correct and the screen glows blue i.e the offer 4 u to press square once to start the speed kill.
speed kill is performed three times.
so wait 4 the screen to glow. then only press square otherwise u ‘ll hav 2 start the same procedure again.
in 1st time it strikes the giant on back ( if unsuccesful then here only the giant ‘ll throw u. use sand here if u r thrown and click square the moment the screen glowa to blue )
2nd time the screen glows wen he catches u wid the hand.
3rd time it glows wen u strike on his eyes to make him blind.
same procedure 4 right eye. only u hav to go to other ledge and jump from there.. here u ‘ll repeat the same procedure.
now the real game starts.. his life ‘ll start decreasing from this step. try to strike his legs from back side that u know already from warrior within.
when his life ends then again the speed kill starts and use square button once for 1 time the screen glows blue (i.e. the invitation for speed kill )
thus u hav 3 steps to kill that son of a bitch !!!

in some cases, the speed kill has a glitch wherein the screen does not slow mo. the counterpart is just to listen to the sound and hit the button.
