PoP Movie Poll: Who makes the better Prince?
The video game, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, will be turned into a movie by Walt Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer Productions. The movie will be written by Jordan Mechner, the creator of Prince of Persia, produced by John August and Jerry Bruckheimer, and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures.
The movie is in its infancy and an actor hasn’t been cast to play the Prince. Everyone’s got their opinion on who should be the Prince, we’ve gathered a list of the most popular actors who we think have a chance at playing this role. Take a look below and vote for your favorite.

John Abraham is ethnically persian plus he got the looks……now this new disney movie is gonna suck BIG TIME!! coz prince does not look anywhere close to persian nor farha looks anywhere close to an Indian….plus one can clearly tell these suckers shot everything in Morocco…….and knowing that disney made it, now there goes up the kid stuff, no blood and gore, no swears….

the persian/asian look required for the role can be played best by an actor with wheatish complexion…John wud be the perfect match going by the looks,hairstyle,complexion,physique,action scenes delivery n all….

The guy from “the lord of rhe ring” would be the best choice…VIGGO MORTENSON (Aragorn)…
If you compare the pictures of Prince from “pop WW” and the character of Aragorn from LOTR……than I’m sure you’ll agree with me….;-)

I think that Ben Barnes, the prince from CON: Prince Caspian, would be great. At least as the prince from the first game. When I saw the Prince Caspian trailer I even thought it was a Prince of Persia trailer at first because he looked like him.

we’ll i think they’re all shit for being the prince, and only some of them would be good for the “funny” prince in those stupid PoP games for xbox360 or PSP:
he should be like the one in warrior within and the two thrones, but within doing some sarcasm, but not playing some kind of fool….Jake Gyllenhaal is not the best, but well find a better one…and in my opinion he has the look, so i hope it will be a good scripted movie for the right feelings

In my opinion, none of the chosen actors are appropriate candidates for this role even if they are strong performers and indeed famous. I think a handsome and attractive Persian actor should be chosen for this role which I’m certain “Alirum Nurai”
He would be the greatest candidate for performing this character. With suitable face and fit body, withal he expert in parkour, that I think it helps you
So, i think Alirum Nurai is the Best choice!!!

They waste all that money training that nerd at the gym, when John already looks the part and would have no doubt acted the part. Ah well! look on the bright side when it comes out it will cover the cost of gym fees…at least!!

The first I knew about Jake Gyllenhall playing the prince of persia is when I saw a photo in my magazine. I nearly fell of my seat. LOL.
I agree that John Abraham should have got this part. I remember as I said here before that when I got this game for my brother when it first came out I was stunned by the similarity. Well that’s hollywood for you!!
