Area: The Fortress (Dark Prince) (The Two Thrones Walkthrough)
After the transformation, use a Wall Run and chain swing to the next ledge. If you want, jump down the ledge and initiate a Speed Kill and then go back up. Use a Wall run and chain swing and then jump to the nearby chain. Slide down the chain and initiate another Speed Kill. From there, jump down and destroy the enemies down here. See that pole in dead center of the court? Jump to it and climb up. Swing past three swing poles and then activate the Bronze Slit. Now exit the area.
Mini-Game: Chariot Racing
Control the chariot and follow the path. When the second enemy chariot sidetracks you, keep pushing him to the left before heading into the overpass so that he crashes. After passing the overpass, stay right and fight off any enemies that jump on. Now stay left and the chariot will do a slow motion jump. Stay right and watch for the man with the fruit stand! Veer left and the chariot will do another slow motion jump. From there, stay on the path and everything will follow through.
Once that’s done, it’s back to basics. Head into the room and jump up the ledges to the top. Climb the ladder and jump the ledge. Jump the ledge again to the next ladder and to the top.
Head for the railing and hop over it. Jump to the ladder and climb up. Now jump the gap and shimmy to the left and jump the next gap to the ladder and climb up. Jump the gap again and hop over the ledge. Continue on down towards the Water Fountain.

This might be a bug but, did you know that once you turn into the Dark Prince and you die and you do not retry, you will start back at the beginning of the first sand castle as the Dark Prince.
Have not seen anyother posts on this. Has anyone else achieved this?

I’m stuck on this part. Been playing it over and over for hours. I saw the bronze slit immediately, and I’ve run my blade down it a zillion times to no avial. It opens the FIRST gate, but then there is ANOTHER gate behind it. How do I open THAT gate???

You might have miss out on turning the wheel handle in the previous area, which is just before running the wall with the spikes and then transforming into the Dark Prince.

Turn into Dark Prince run wall throw chain,Jump and throw chain to corner drop down kill sand archer jump up run along wall hook lamp with chain and jump to chain. Game wont let me slide down chain to kill sand guard on ground!!Goes down about a foot and stops tried it 20 times already any suggestions.This is foe THE Fortress.Thx

I have a big problem… after opening the door from the bronze slit and transforming in the normal prince, as he jumps to the chariot, the game crashes…..help me.

Game wont let me slide down chain to kill sand guard on ground!!Goes down about a foot and stops, any solution guys?

ok, now i’m getting frustrated too. Figured out how to solve my problems in this stage, but the game keeps crashing and exiting towards the end of the chariot race.

Chariot racing is my favorite mini game but the bad news is that there is only this time and after the ruined palace level and when you press A (or X on playstation 2) you whip the horse and you go a little bit faster. hope you have fun from Camboy (the help dude):-)

When you get to a chain it is really fun doing speed kills to a guard underneath as the dark prince.Just press Y (or triangle on PS2) and you use your daggertail to grab him by the neck,lift him up,strangle him and let him fall and break his neck.If you can’t get any lower and you’re stuck about a foot above him push the left thumbstick (analog stick) up to be ready to climb up but jump AWAY from the guard and sneak up behind him and repetitively press Y (or triangle on PS2) and you will strangle him to death.Hope I’ve helped you (again) from Camboy AKA the help dude.:-D

Sorry guys I’ve just found out that you can’t jump from the chain you will have to just press B (or O for PS2) and fight him without speed killing him.Hope you forgive me, Camboy AKA the help dude who has made one mistake in his helping career, but still call me the help dude please, so I don’t feel bad:-)

Me again I’ve found out that the pole at the far right of the area where the chain is if you climb to the top of the pole you will hear sound credits which you can hear if you want to.Good luck POP fans from Camboy the help dude:-)

Chain Bug - Got to the bit where you chance into the Dark Prince for the second time than you WALLRUN -> CHAINSWING (from a lamp post or something) -> JUMP off the wall onto a long hanging chain that ends just above a guard.
Yeah, can’t get more than about a foot down the chain. Not anywhere even close to the guard. And of course so high up that if I drop down I just die from falling.
