TBH, come on lets be honest sands of time was the best overall. Ok, so warrior within was more fighting based, the music was awesome, and the levels well designed but it wasn’t half difficult; it was also rather dark and brooding, which I thought wasn’t as good as the glowing mystery of sands of time. I think the graphics are actually better in sands of time, more mysterious, and more realistic to be honest; in WW and T2T the graphics seem a lot more pixelated and less fluid. I do however, love the fight moves on WW and T2T, especially the speed kills and dark prince, but the way his life runs out is annoying. Also, the hardness of WW is frustrating; i love the parkour type stuff and puzzles but some of the fighting is just too damn hard (those ninja women were SOOO annoying). So, yeah, overall I do thinks sands of time is the best generally, and if it had the fighting stuff from the other 2 it would have been awesome; WW comes as close second.

I’ve played the three parts “Warrior Within ” “The Two Thrones” “The Sands of Time “and each one was better from the other in the part “The Sands of Time ” i loved the prince and his way of talking and in the part “Warrior Within ” it was a good idea the time travel and all the puzzles and the dahaka chases my heart really stop beating and when he gets me i start to fight with my brother and sisters and i kick them out of the room and in the part “The Two Thrones” i reallly realllllllllly loved the dark prince and his thirst for blood and battles in all of the parts i played i liked the excitement in it some times my hands where frozen and i totally stop breathing and i totally love this game

This poll is a surprise to me. I’ve always been under the impression that WW was the least liked…at least of the trilogy. WW has always been my favorite of the three.
I liked the darker prince better anyway and even liked The Two Thrones up to a point…especially the Prince as he was turning into a sand monster.
The music on WW was the best and I prefer the Prince alone (Farah as a companion helping the prince annoyed me greatly in Sands of Time). I was a bigger fan of Kaileena as a character than Farah anyway.
I loved the dahaka chases.

hi,
WW is the coolest game ever, i don’t play as work takes my whole time … then i got sick and had to stay home. Now i cannot take it out of my head … i finished it the 3rd time today. I guess the sound is actually what got me hooked.

prince of persia warrior within kicked ass i never thought they could pull it off after the wimpy PoP SOT but the second one had the best music “which i was pissed off the third one didnt have” it even had swearing which was awsome pluse the woman had skanky clothing which was good and the dahuka was f@%#*ng sweet every time he showed up you had to do some quik thinking to get away and it was longer then the first and third pluse the goals you need to achieve were brilliant an f@#k you all who hated this game

I have played all the the Prince of Persia games and by far Warrior Within Kicks Ass. It has the best thought out level designs and puzzles. Giving an environment that is great 4 adventure and a perfect level of difficulty. Free Form Fighting ^^. Not to mention the best graphics, music and attitude of all POP games.
T2T misses in many places. speed kills are a good idea but should be much more skillful and less forced. Take a note from Tenchu. the game is too linear and easy. *Ahem* more weapons. The princes young voice annoys me.
I agree that POP3D was the weakest. But only due to the sup par Graphics and glitchyness of the game otherwise it was an enthralling adventure.
I love all the games but WW Wins.
The original gets my second vote 4 starting a great francise.

my fav prince of percia is the WW.the SOT was great but the fighting isnt that much.as compared to the free fighting in WW.as to the T2T the speed kill is a great improvement but i missed fighting with an ogre.
most of all WW has the greatest story, it explains everything.from the creation of the sand and the hourglass in SOT to the changing of destiny in t2t.when i finished this story i was so impressed with the creator.
the experience in WW is really great, like it makes me feel like i was actually there. And of course the soundtrack is the best ever….those Godsmack songs really suit the mood and atmospher of the game…;)

I like The Sands of Time Best coz The story & the game are really hard to beat, Brilliant!
I also like WW (I played it just in the beginning & after that I lost my cd) and T2T (I’ve finished it) but they still can’t level with The Sands of Time.
I don’t really care about the music, soundtrack, speed kill (that’s why I stucked in T2T the arena), new fancy moves or combos eventhough I know those are also Important
What I care most is the story that can touch our hearts, the best graphic of characters, sceneries and Interesting Dialogs, puzzles (like in The Sands of Time, not like in T2T), videos and cut scenes and unpredictable ending stories
I heard that The Sands of Time will be made into a big screen movie version by walt disney so, It’s Better be Good!

I’ve played all kinds of gamez & POP trilogy is definitely one of my favorite. At first it was hard for me to get used on camera and fighting system, especially played with keyboard and mouse but lucky for me I bought 8 buttoned mouse so everything went much easier. So, first time I played SOT it was great experience for me especially discovering such a great story followed by fantastic soundtrack. Made me feel like I was there with Prince & Farrah. After that I was expecting so much from Warrior Within and there it was first scene, Prince runs from someone, or is that some”thing”. I discovered soon enough, it was the mighty Dahaka. WW was something completely different from SOT but again great story and amasing gameplay experience. I could feel the Dahaka’s breath every time he was chasing me. Intense soundtrack fitted very good in dark tone of the game. Through music you could feel rage of the Prince and especially his inner disturbance facing the fact that he is constantly chased by Dahaka. So finally The Two Thrones completed my expectations as a worthy ending of trilogy. Another great story with improved fighting system followed by great soundtrack. Dark Prince was something so obvious to come after that selfish, restless and unexperienced Prince from SOT and then enraged and stressed Princ from WW. Dark Prince as a unique character fitted great in completing the story.
When someone would ask me which one is my favorite POP trilogy game I would surely answer : they all are. Every one in it’s own way, three great games, three great stories and three great soundtracks.

Sands of Time by far. The Two Thrones is pretty good too. I have to say that Warrior Within was one of the WORST games I have ever played. How could you follow something so epic as Sands of Time with something as lame as Warrior Within. The graphics were a step backward, the gameplay horrid, and the setting was a joke! Even the stupid cat-like sounds that the enemy made was annoying. I know it’s hard to follow up with something great after having such success with the Sands of Time but COME ON! Ubisoft just phoned this one in. Pathetic!

Hey, I love the PoP games, just that, there should be more weapons not only the sword, mace and axe stuff (except for the daggertail) they should put more of an bigger weapon array here, ranged weapons wold be fun to have

Prince of persia SoT of was a great game but it had a lot hard things like puzzels, the thing u had to do with the sand creatures to stab the dagger in them on floor.=> SoT= sweaty hard game(good though)
PoP WW has kinda sadistic blood and blood and …Blood. The story was good but dark and spookie. The fighting sistem was good sand powers too.=>WW= bloody, long and had wierd weapons.(rayman fist, hokey stick?)
PoP TTT nice game (i got it i dunno…: a week ago)
the thing was cool to have two type of warriors and two type of weapon styles nice boss fighting(hmmm…a few boss fights)=>TTT=two games in one

I didn“t play the first POP trilogy, but I can tell you that WW is the best.
December 6th, 2006 at 8:03 am
It’s true that SoT has good music, but the WW has the best music and the best environments.
The fighting isn’t so good in SoT but in T2T i liked it best.
After all I still think the WW is the best. I like the story, characters, gameplay (fights and puzzles) and music (I am still listening to the sound track).

November 29th, 2006 at 11:18 pm
I like warrior within better, its true that T2T have new things like speed kills and dark prince, but sceneries are not that fun, the music is like have a sad and hopeless tone, not much puzzles. with Warrior Within sometimes i had to spent hours to figure out some puzzles as you might even need to go back long way from you came to solve them. music more Persian with many instruments and arabian drums, even though there were metal music with fights. story and sceneries a lot more fun. Id say viva POP WW. totally awesome.
