Area: The Well Of Ancestors (The Two Thrones Walkthrough)
Objective: Make It To The Bottom Of The Well
Make a Wall Run and chain swing to the next ledge. Wall Run and chain swing again to the beam. Cross the beam and then jump and chain swing to the long chain. Slide down the chain and jump on the beam. Quickly cross it and then jump to the next ledge.
Wall Run and chain swing to the next ledge and then make a leap for the beam. Quickly move left and drop down twice. Now Wall Run and chain swing twice on the opposite side. Wall Run and chain swing to the next ledge and destroy the enemies that appear.
Now go back to the ledge and Wall Run to the next one. Drop down in the corner and slide down the Wall Gap to the bottom and drop down. Eliminate the enemies that appear and then jump the chasm and chain swing twice to the next ledge. Quickly climb up and then Wall Run and chain swing twice to the beam. Drop down twice and then use Landscape View. From there, Wall Run and chain swing four times to the other side.
Go down the entrance and jump and chain swing to the other area. Go down the stairs and kill the enemies. Just near the open wall is a ledge to shimmy on the right. Do you see it? Shimmy on the ledge going left and then jump down. Wall Run three times to the left and then run to the middle platform. Destroy the enemies and then cross the beam and jump to the Wall Gap and slide down and drop down.
Enter the corridor and then watch the sawblades. Wall Run when it’s clear to the ledge and then quickly shimmy all the way to the right. Drop down and quickly shimmy left and make the leap to the left ledge. Shimmy right and then drop down under the sawblade. Shimmy right and then climb up to the top. Roll past the triple sawblades and then make a jump and chain swing to the other side. Quickly run up the wall to the right and shimmy all the way right. Jump the gap to the ledge and drop down three times. Shimmy right to a long hallway.
Objective: Get Past The Death Traps
Roll past the sawblades. Wait for the spikes to turn and then slow down time and Wall Run and shutter jump from the left side to the ledge. Jump up and then jump the gap to the ledge on the opposite side. Shimmy all the way right and then carefully jump down. On top of the third sawblade is a ledge to run up to. Wait for it to rotate and then run up to it and shimmy right. Activate the Lion Switch, jump to it, and then leap the gap to the ledge across from it. Shimmy all the way right and then drop down. Roll past the last set of sawblades and step on the switch and exit. CUTSCENE.
After transforming, destroy the enemies with your new secondary weapon. Once their gone, look for the exit with the crack on it and destroy it. Access the Water Fountain on the other side.

thanx a bunch!!! (not being sarcastic) i was soooo stuck on them two massive guards after the second chariot race but now i’m ok, well i’m not i’m near the bottom of the well and i cant get past them turny things with spikes on em, if his life didnt go down by itself i’d be fine!!!!! oh well thanx again!

Make sure you’re going in the right direction when you chain swing from a torch. not all of them can be used.

After I defeat the first set of enemies in this level I just can’t make the jump to the weird falling thingy. I made it ONCE but then it fell and I died and it seems like I should be able to stay on it. What do I do once I reach it?

To break the cracked wall, stand in front of it and HOLD DOWN (not just press) the secondary weapon key. On the Gamecube that’s the Y key.

HEY JAMES I BEAT THE GAME THE END IS KIND OF BORING
I EVEN GOT ALL THE LIFE UPGRADES AND WAS ABLE TO FIGHT DARK PRINCE EVEN THOUGH YOU DONT REALLY FIGHT HIM!!! THAT REALLY MAKES ME MAD!

Here’s some puzzle tips:
You can make the first puzzle jump without wall running past the saws. Just stand to the left of center and jump towards about 1:00 to the ledge.
Remember that one vase will restore the dark prince his whole health. So don’t waste time where you know you can replenish health after a few nicks of the saw.
At the spot where you jump down three times, press the button as fast as you can to save a little time.
The hardest part is at the end. After you get past the arrows and you edge around the corner and have to drop down through the saw blades, slow down time, drop down and back up into the safe hallway.
Then move forward when it’s safe. Slow down time immediately when the time speeds back up again. Then wait for the third saw blade to be safe. You should have plenty of time and health to finish the level.

I’ve done the bit where you drop from ledge thru the first saw blade, but when I run up the wall thru the second blade I can’t activate the lion block, I’m level with it and no matter what button I press I can’t get him to chain it! any ideas?

AAAAAAAAAAAAAA……!!!! This is sick, somebody PLEASE help me!!! I’ve done it all, but when it comes to the shutter jump, it doesn’t work. I don’t why but for some reason the shutter won’t close/open properly so i can’t jump to the ledge!!! Does anyone have the same problem? if so please tell me what to do!!!! PLEASE…?!?!

one thing I hate with this game, is when u have to wallrun and chain swing. I can never do it right. The chain is always to short. Same shit made me use hours to get no the next wall earlyer in the game, and now I need to do it twise, will cost more hours…this is on xbox, dunno if its as hard to do on pc. arggh

hi im at the point where tou use the chain on the lion head but my life runs out to fast and i cant get pass that part any way to rais youer life in the maze of traps or even a cheat that works for the Wii

As far as chain swinging, i ind the key is not the button but the left joy stick (PS2). hold it straight up and not try to use it for angling, let the game do it!

Just to leave a trace for anyone else who runs into the same problem… I was stuck in the exact same spot as Artas, in the Well of Ancestors trying to make the shutter jump. I tracked down a video walkthrough on another site and finally realised my error - you have to run along the LEFT HAND WALL.
Whoops.

lol you need to press the secndray weapon button to activate lion swich (did well of ancestors without any damage or any rewinds on hard)
