Area: The Arena (The Two Thrones Walkthrough)
Continue down the path to see a large behemoth (sorta like the Gigante boss from Resident Evil 4). Head into the arena to trigger the boss battle.
Boss Battle: The Butcher Part 1
This boss cannot be weakened conventionally. Striking him will not hurt him so you’ll need to blind him permanently in order to defeat him. Around the arena are two ledges to climb up. Access either one and climb up to the top of the arena.
Strategy
Once the battle starts, move upwards to find the first walkway with the stab squares. Access the stab squares and jump your way to the top.
Cross the ledge and make the long jump towards the boss. Just like the Quick/Speed Kills, the dagger will shimmer each time for maximum damage. Press the button for each shimmer to blind the boss’s eye. Once the Prince blinds the first eye, he jumps down and it’s time for the second eye. Find the second walkway and head up to the top ledge.
Jump the beam towards the boss and use the Speed Kills to blind him permanently. Now that it’s blind, you can start doing some damage!
Boss Battle: The Butcher Part 2
Slash away at his legs like crazy! Use evasive rolls and keep slashing until he finally keels over. After he keels, press the Quick Kill buttons to finally destroy the boss. See how easy that was!

i need help when u jump on his shulder and hit him when u go over to the ther side the digger desent glow
agen when he goes and grep u i been on this boss for 2weeks lol

hi i got his treatment first of all get on the right side and get right eye first where a run walk plateform and be calm and patient 2nd or 3rd time dagger will sine and u can do the trick the other eye is very easy to get so be calm to do and do this in secuence

Okay guys i’ve finally figured this basturd out. 1st of all, each side has a different sequence of speed kills for each eye.
for the 1st side, when on the ledge, as soon as the screen glows(pc) press E ONCE(only once) for the speed kill. in the air, the dagger glows blue.at this point tap the attack button(left click) only once. you will then move to his shoulder. press nothing until he grabs you. when in his hand, the dagger glows again.tap attack button again and he will throw you in the air to his head. again wait for the dagger to glow and tap right mouse button to get his 1st eye. now use the second route(the one with many dagger plates) and thou the sequence changes, u hav to just time perfectly when the dagger shimmers(glows). Avoid panicking or pressing many times coz it distorts the speed kills. once you hav the eyes, the rest is simple

I get the hint, but why my prince dagger won’t shimmer after the first stab? do i have to get “lucky” to get the 2nd stab?

This one was one of the easier bosses, the size’s intimidating though. Here’s a trick I used, I’m not sure if it’ll work for everyone but when the dagger flashes, count in sync with it. The important thing in speed killing is to remain calm and focused.

Listen. What controllers do I need to hit to attack on the PC for the second speed kill to get either eye? On the PC I have tried over and over the left and right clicks on the mouse. Holding it to the left sometimes. Just, every combo. What controllers then? The left click, the right click? both? Which? Someone mentioned you can run back on the shoulders? So do I need to move in order to light up like he said? The attack is not working anytime. And as many on here, I have tried it at every place in the time of the second speed kill. One time I got lucky and somehow got to the third speed kill for one side. Then another time for the other eye. I don’t know what controller I need to hit even. SOOOO frustrating. Usually I work through problems as I solved the first two Pop’s, which was incredibly awesome and challenging. Personally, I think it is the best games (series) ever made. I wish all video games were like the PoP’s. So much creativity and awesomeness in the entire series. How can anyone say it is not the best ever made. Please tell me which controllers to attack on the PC in the Arena. I know what controllers attack in general. But it is not working, of course on the Boss.

if u fail on 1 side then u go to the other then try
u cannot try 2 sides in a row
if u try twice on the same side theres no 2nd shimmer

what is the frickin’ deal?? I have no problem getting him to his knees and then the prince automatically runs up to his back and just stands there. There is no flash for the next speed kill move or anything all it does is say “you pressed the square too late”. I can’t do anything. What am I doing wrong, there is no prompt for me after I bring him to his knee!!!!!
