Area: The Terrace (The Two Thrones Walkthrough)
Walk up the stairs and turn right. Go up another set of stairs and look for switch on the wall. Head for the open door and go down the long hallway. Hop over the railing and leap to the next balcony.
Destroy the cracked wall and go down the stairs and into the elevator. It’s time to end this!
Boss Battle: Vizier Part 1
Use evasive rolls and strike after he misses his attacks. When he lunges his pillars, roll away. Keep attacking him and rolling away from his counters. There’s no complicated fighting, just be evasive. Once his health reaches 75%, the second part of the battle begins.
Boss Battle: Vizier Part 2
Now it’s SPEED KILL TIME! Ignore all the floating debris, it’s just there to confuse you. Notice that the Vizier floats from pillar to pillar. What you need to do is run up to the pillar that the Vizier is floating in front of and run up against it and begin the Speed Kill sequence when it initiates.
When you start the Speed Kill, be patient and press the button when the dagger shimmers! Don’t rush into it or he’ll throw you to the ground! The Prince needs to do three sequential (and successful) Speed Kills to trigger the next sequence.
After three successful Speed Kill sequences, the Vizier flies to the top of the structure. Your goal is to jump and swing our way to the very top of where he is. I’m sorry but I cannot spoil this part of the game for you. You must do this part yourself…You there yet? Once you reach the top, jump at the Vizier and once the dagger flares, press the button to end the battle!
Congrats, you beat the game! BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE! If you found all six health upgrades (that I’ve detailed thoroughly in this walkthrough), then you will see an extra scene and you will fight one last battle. The descent out of madness starts here.

Now here is the deal… at the first battle just stand still and as he tries to hit you jump to evade and E E E until he stops ur attack and then jump cause he will attack rite after… then E E E and go until he rises up… this will happen 3 times and you have to evade the falling debree…
At the second battle try to evade the debree cause they hit you no matter what they say and do the 3 speed kill routines like described before…
The 3rd part i havent done yet but the problem is that he keeps spitting something to you and everytime it hits you and you are on the air you fall from high places and die… i think it is impossible…

the 3rd part isn’t impossible just need a little practice if u can survive the first 2 parts with the half of your life remain, u can jump through the 3 part, the trick is that don’t hang when the spit comes. It isn’t damage a lot.

there is no extra ending, what u got was the standard and only one and it doesn’t matter if you got all 6 upgrades or none at all - u still get to go to the mental realm no matter what

There’s no special ending. You get last stage whether you did find all upgrades or not.

On the terrace, just before you hit the last wall switch there is a stone table. I was thinking that if I play it again and get all the upgrades, then there might be something there. (Like with the water sword in WW) Did anybody try that?
Also I can’t get any of the cheats to work.
Is there a trick to the sand tank refill one?
Also it looks like there is another door, near the one that the switch opens.

Hi, I hope somebody can answer me this, is there an alternative ending to the game? If there is, obviously you don’t get it by finding all life upgrades, I already tried that; but if there is not an alternate ending, then what’s up with the trailer where the prince finds Farah laying on the ground, then says something like “I can’t believe I would find you here…” and then he transforms into the dark prince and says something like “you won’t get in my way…”,
does anybody knows??

I’ve just finished the game (PC)… got all the life upgrade… and there is a special ’section’ where you have to chase the “shadow” in a special area… afterwards, u will see Farah afterwards… and after all the credits, they told u how to obtain the special sword by punchining special sequence of keys in the pause menu.

ok how do I trigger the quick kill sequence? I take this crazy bird/insect… whatever the heck hes meant to be down to about three quarters health and he brings down chunks of rock that I have to dodge. I dodge them i dodge em some more and so on until I eventually get killed but no matter if I’m near or far from this guy the speed kill sequence doesn’t activate

i beat the mental realm and it told me a code for the telephone weapon. I went into the same game, hit pause, entered the code, but nothing happened. I even made a new game under the same account name, but still, nothing. I also am still kept from viewing the video in Special features.

ok the part where the battle between the two guards (the one with the sword and the other one with an axe) pisses me off! it took me a half hour to beat the damn things!
I’m at the part now with the Vizier….does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep your health up like tricks or something?

to kill the vazir in the 1st battle.when the cut scene is over , just roll back.stand your ground and keep on jumping,time your jump,when the vazir strikes, just jump no rolling or anything else is required, after that strike thrice, then jump again ..keep doing this, when the vazir flies off to throw towers at you, just keep running and then follow as above,
in the second phase take your own time , don hurry keep yourself in the centre and when the vazir is near the pillars , do a run against the pillar and go for the speed kill, dont rush wait for the shimmering blade.three speed kills are required.important-keep a little health for the third round
in the third phase just relax it is easier than the rest two.just keep jumping from one rack to the other the vazir will be spitting at u,dont worry {just be careful during the swings -when the vazir spits just keep pressing the action button , the prince wil grab the swing again} reach the top and then jump at the vazir and press the kill button) the end baby the end.after that its is against the corruption you have to fight, u wont die here just follow the corruption and strike it after that farah the princess will lead you. follow her . the end

the tactic to defeat the TWIN BOSSES is simple.perform a combo on the swordsman which he will block.as u do that the camera will always turn to the axeman.his axe will get stuck to the ground.slash him at that time.do this one more time and the speed kill sequence will appear.THIS IS FOR CRAIG

Not being funny, The game is fantastic but to kill the vizier is a joke, i can get to the part where the blocks rise to the air no problem, but i cannot figure the way to the top. any hints on which way to go. Are there any other games similar to the prince of persia format i can try on the xbox. Thanks for any forthcoming advice. (What is everyone’s favourite part of the game?…)

Had to write on this one. Still trying to beat the Vizier. Have only triggered the Speed Kill sequence once then was to anxious to get it done. However, did trigger a glitch of sorts one time, that almost allowed me to beat him easily. Think I hit the slow time buttom at precisely the same moment that he hit 75% of his life, but not sure if that was it or not. Anyhow, instead of him floating around the columns and the rocks spinning all over the place we seemed to be transported to the top of something and he was motionless for a while allowing me to beat the daylights out of him. Knocked him down to about 40% of his health bar before he revived and unfortunately Prince was almost dead so he hit once and killed Prince. Has anyone else found this glitch? Also if there are any manufacturers of gaming equipment out there, How about coming up with a more comfortable gamepad or controller, especially for people with larger hands. And seeing as we tend to use a death grip on the controller when playing perhaps a softer feel. Would give you a few ideas if you contact me. Good Luck

Finally beat the Vizier and finished the game. Was rather easy after you got the hang of it. Biggest problem was dodging the spinning rocks and then trying to figure out which way to go when he was up in the air. But after a few trys you get the hang of it. Also found out the best way for speed kills is to listen to the sounds. Didn’t realize early on that there are distinct sounds when you trigger it and when the blade shimmers. There are times when you miss the shimmer but hear the sound. Also loved the first video that was unlocked. LOL Good Luck to those who might be playing the game for the first time or haven’t finished yet. I’m off to my next game.

I have read all of these comments and found a couple that sounded like they would help me, but I still can’t get any speed kills at all. I run up the pillar and I hear the sound then I hit the button to get the speed kill, but nothing. Am I missing something or what.

andyroo, you have to press and hold triangle for a few seconds. Keep it held down, Prince will swing sword back then strike wall hard.

Blah, the vizier battle is stupid. I’ve tried it 15 times already. I finally found the 10 sand credits tank at the terrace so you get at least 6 rewinds.
The vizier battle part 1 is easy, just roll to the left when he attacks you, then strike with blade(not dagger) or do some combo. If he manages to block you, just block yourself, because he will take a swing at you (not at your feet). If he ascends and throws rocks at you, be sure to be as far away from him as possible. If you roll now you will almost always avoid the rocks.
Part 2 is just annoying and stupid. It’s all because of the camera. I bet in First person this part would be too easy. The camera just SUX! You can’t see rocks coming from out of the screen, so they surprise you, and then the prince acts stupid and hits a rock. You can then rewind, but usually even though you pay a lot of attention you will get hit again. Best way after the speed kill is to get back to the middle, and start your way across the moving rocks. Better get hit by his magic attack than by a rock.
For the 3rd speed kill the vizier will be moving a bit faster now, so you’ll have to navigate through the rocks even more.
Part 3 could be easy, but I never have more than 2 sand tanks left because of stupid part 2, so I never made it higher than about half the way to the vizier.
In the beginning he’s whining, if you are fast you could get quite far before he starts spitting at you.
Otherwise I’ve enjoyed this game a lot, though near the end it because tedious, and when you finally get a good sword (your father’s) battles are actually too easy.

well, it is not you. the cheats can only work once, therefore use them accordingly, incase you need them further in the game like when you are versing the vizier (it is so hard).

hey raihan, just do combos on the sword guy and he blocks them right? right. then when the camera view changes, roll away to dodge the axe guy then beat the crap outta him then it will trigger a speed kill do that twice and you will win.

for some reason I am having trouble with the twins. I can get to the first speedkill with full health, but the speedkill isn’t working. I don’t know if it’s just pressure sensitive or I need to go sooner or later during the flare, but I can’t get it. Can anyone lend some helpful advice?

does anyone hav a smart way of dodging the f***ing stones or debris or wtf, so that the moronass prince doesn’t walk stright into them and loos lot a life. i kick the vizier guys ass in part 1, in part 2 i kick his ass, but he kicks mine as well, or his rocks do actually… so that when i reach the 3 part i get dead bcause of lack life …and some light ballz that make me faaaaaaaall straight down to death….please help with the floating stones!

IN THE 3 RD PART OF VAZIER JUS LISTEN TO THE SOUND COZ AFTER THE UNUSUAL SOUND HE MAKES HE THROWS THE BALSS SO EITHER MOVE OR STAY RIGHT UP BUT DON’T B HANGING ELSE U’LL FALL DOWN. THE BALSS WONT DO ANY GREATER DAMAGE EITHER.

What is working so far is for me when dodging the stones is running around the perimeter of the arena. if I run into it, I lose life, but if I run between the pillars I can avoid all but two of them which hit me with their jagged edges. My problem are the speed kills, I get the first wing then keep missing them. I know it is about timing but I am hoping that one day I will get it. Very frustrating. I don’t like them at all. I have arthritic hands and funnily enough find fighting is easier than the speed kills. Hope this helps.

So, this game made the nintendo wii…
So, i have had next to no problems untill the last boss. I just cant figure out why they didnt optimize the game so it wont lag as soon as you get to the last boss. I cant complete it even on easy, due to all the sand and special effects happening and causing the game to show below 15 fps.
Really pisses me off. They convert this game to the wii, and forget a crucial point: make the game possible to beat.

you can easily evade the attack by jumping,and IF he is
blocking your attacks,STOP ATTACKING and jump.then,continue attacking.i only use dagger of time for part 1…

Yipppieeee….hoorayyy, I finished the game, after 30 times tried. Yeyyyy….I also get the mental realm of madness, the prince ignore the dark prince, wow…but there wasn’t any cut scene like the guide tell, just the prince talking to fara…
I also tried the codes in pause menu. It did it. Funny, baby toy, like I used to play when I was kid…wwkwkwkw and also the video its very fun, make me LOL, u have to watch the video.
