So this is way off topic, but has anyone played God of War? Isn't it great? I can't believe it's possible to make such a game on the current consoles, the new consoles, sure... but the PS2? It's an amazing work of art.

If you like Prince of Persia, you're going to love God of War... definitely buy it if you can. If not, beg, steal or borrow it!

Well....as much as I did like playing god of war....the graphics were kind of crappy and the story was put out in crappy places out trough the game....but its still a great action game. I like prince of persia better because has way more moves..looks more real and has a good reason for killing people. Where in God Of War he dose it all for himself..sure anyone would want to get rid of the memory of killing there family but Kratos chose to do all that. He was doing it for himself. Kratos was only working for the gods for himself...he didn't want to help the gods he wanted to a couple of jobs for them and live his evil life. Kratos is a bad person and was only doing good deeds for the gods for a little while. I dont now why

He was selected as the god of war because he certainly didn't deserve it, not morally anyway.



But anyway it was a good game just not very nice like the prince.

Well I got the game and I'm going through it.

I quite like it, it's different from POP that's true. I can't quite get the button matching thing I just can't bash the buttons as fast as they want me to goddamit!

I with you Robert, it's good so far, but not as good as POP games.

best ps2 game ever, just as good as prince of persia... did you hear that thing about when kratos is on the ship with the 2 chicks and there's a minigame with the 2 chicks... cool stuff

acutally my favorite bit in GOW was at the end.

the bit where kratos is fighting against all the other kratos's to protect his family against ares. i thought it was neat he had to hug his family to give them life.

That mini game you wore talking about...its sick, but you get a good few orbs out of them. And for the record I only did it caz someone told me you get orbs out of it....*looks left to right* ..........WHAT?

david jaffe did a spectacular job on GOW, i hope he's gonna do GOW 2... i hope there's gonna be a GOW 2!

Ps2 releases way too many sequals. I mean can you name a good game out there that dosn't have a sequal? Or at least an upcooming sequal? Man i wanna burn all those sequals that should have just been 1. Like the suffering2, need for speed 2 and all those final fantasys..its never the final one!

Yeah I agree, PS2 have too many crappy sequels but they're not the only ones.

I know why they make sequels, it's all about the money baby...

Having said that, I hope they come up with more sequels for POP!
